One year I froze it in ice cube trays, then put the cubes into a bag. They made a tasty addition to pasta sauces and soups over the winter. Love seeing all those preserving jars filled with the bounty. If I've got any basil left over I make pesto and freeze it in small plastic bags. It keeps really well, and is such a treat in mid winter. One year I froze it in an ice cube tray, and then put the pesto-cubes in a plastic bag in the freezer. They were great tossed into a pasta sauce or soup.Sue Kerrhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07569178603238739003noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12048003.post-80551114646920602452014-03-05T02:55:00.245+13:002014-03-05T02:55:00.245+13:00I know I sound like a broken record, but I so enjoy...I know I sound like a broken record, but I so enjoy seeing your posts of fresh veggies, flowers, sunlight and green things! Slicing them first looks like the way to go. lizzie {Strayed Table}https://www.blogger.com/profile/02780078173100461193noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12048003.post-55219635754623182022014-03-02T10:53:26.002+13:002014-03-02T10:53:26.002+13:00Wow - that's quite a garden you have there Sue...Wow - that's quite a garden you have there Sue.
