Floppy update

Forgot to mention that the vet thought having a name like Floppy meant he obviously wasn't going to be a stud bull! :D No chance of that anyway, he'll be steered (ballcocks ringed :D) if he get's through this.
We seem to have got the hang of tube feeding, although I don't like doing it and Floppy doesn't like it much either.
Isobel still has a pink tinge to her milk, which is now in the two back quarters, she's still happy to let me milk these and they aren't hot to the touch either, so if I keep milking them out hopefully it won't lead to mastitus, don't need anymore hassles.

This morning Floppy was still dehydrated so he's had some more electrolytes, and he'll get more of this through the day, we'll give him more milk soon too. Joe reckoned he felt stronger today, Joe had to really hold him down when we were tubing.

It's a long weekend here so it works out quite well for him as Joe doesn't go back to work until Tuesday, it's Labour weekend. Other plans are to do some gardening and as it's traditionally the weekend to be planting out your veggies we are aiming to get some in.
