I still got it.................

It a was a hot Suesday today and it didn't take us long to start flagging although we covered a lot of ground and went in a few shops. Only two of those were Op shops as I had other things on the agenda today. Before we even left Sues I'd managed to get a bag load of stuff, she was having a clear out and I got first dibs before it was taken to Habitat for Humanity. I brought the bag home and tried it all on, a few things weren't right for me so they will end up at Habitat when I'm next there, but the following 3 photos are what I've kept...

This cardi is a lovely coral colour but my camera hasn't picked that up very well at all..

Then there were these two cardis, both the same design but different colours, one a dusky pink and the blue one is underneath. I'll put them away for when the cooler weather arrives....

She also gave me these shoes, they are rather nice, might have to wear the green ones next time out...

Nothing really rocked my boat today, I found this pretty top for $5 in Habitat..

And this black top was also $5 from Habitat, the funny thing about this is that there were two the same, Sue got the other, I think we will have to have a Two'sday! hah!

In the Salvation Army shop in town I found this fabric, it has such lovely colours and texture to it, I was thinking cushion covers or maybe a bag....dunno....something will come to me...

A trip to Payless Plastics was worth the trip, everything had 50% off as they are relocating. So I stocked up on beauty products cos I need all the help I can get! ;-D

And finally we went to Davids Emporium, this is such a cool shop, it has everything in there, I bought some things I needed for some craft projects I have on the go.

And that was our day, we had lunch at Mulligans Irish bar and stuffed ourselves on garlic bread and big fat wedges with a huge dollop of sour cream on top! The cute Irish barman lusted after me, I could tell, he asked if I was married, I said I was and he's working away!! Wink, wink, nudge nudge!
He had lovely blue eyes! Sigh!

Back to the real world and I think it's time for a Friday funny as I don't think I've done one for a couple of weeks....

Hymn #365

This is a hoot, but I suspect the minister didn't appreciate it.
A minister was completing a temperance sermon. With great emphasis he said, "
If I had all the beer in the world, I'd take it and pour it into the river."

With even greater emphasis he said, "
And if I had
All the wine in the world, I'd take it and pour it into the river
."

And then finally, shaking his fist in the air, he
Said, "
And if I had all the whiskey in the world,
I'd take it and pour it into the river
 ."

Sermon complete, he sat down.

The song leader stood very cautiously and announced
With a smile, nearly laughing, "For our closing song,
Let us sing
Hymn #365, 'Shall We Gather at the River. '"

Smile, life is too short not to!

If this brightened your day
Don't let it stop  here
Pass it on with a smile
Keep spreading the Cheer.

See you at the river
 ♥Have a great weekend!♥
