Michael made the team!

Michael had his trial yesterday and got the call last night, he made it into the Waikato under 85kgs team. We're over the moon. There are 5 games he will play in....

Itinerary for 2015
5/9 Vs North Harbour 85s, St Andrews Park 1pm
12/9 Vs Auckland 85s, Mt Wellington War Memorial Park 1pm
19/9 Vs Wellington 85s, Taupo Rugby Park 1pm
26/9 Vs Counties 85s, Patumahoe RFC 1pm
6/10 Vs Waikato Maori's, St Andrew Park 1pm

We will do our best to get to see these games. As you can imagine he's pretty stoked about it and we are so pleased for him. He so deserves it, here's a photo from the Waikato under 85kgs facebook page which they kindly said I could borrow. We didn't go to watch, it was played in 4 quarters of 20 minutes, and he would have played for one of those 20 minutes.  He wore the number 7 jersey, so flanker. Funnily enough the position Joe used to play.

Well done Michael, you've had quite a week!
Hope you bought a Lotto ticket!

And now just because I can................lambs!

And that's me, I'm off to bed and another weekend over
