Catching up!

Well, long time no see, can't believe the months have flown by so fast, almost halfway through our second year already. I had intended to go month by month like I did after being here for one year, but I can't remember what happened!!
So instead I'll tell you about the goings on down on the farm. I'll take it a subject at a time and try to bring everything up to date over the next couple of weeks or so.
I've also sorted lots of photos to load onto community webshots but unfortunately I couldn't get on there today. So I'll just keep trying.
What I also would like to do is add links to the photos, so that when I post a new spot, you can go straight through to the relevant album.

We are all well and keeping busy, winter and spring is very busy here on the block. After a promising start to spring it has turned cold and wet again. But when the sun does show it's face it can be very warm. It's rather windy today and there's a cool breeze blowing through the window. I'm sitting in the office looking out at the paddock, I can see the four new pigs, Eeny, Meeny, Miny & Mo. The 4 older goats are munching their way through the grass that is growing so fast that I'm having trouble walking through the paddocks at the moment.
Amber one of our new goat kids has just run into the house and jumped up on the chair beside me!! So now she's in the dog pen and I can hear her complaining about it very loudly. Naughty girl. Tiger the cat has resumed his position on the chair that Amber jumped on and Him! Clyde is asleep at my feet and no doubt Bonnie is in her usual place....on Michaels bed.
Joe is working away for a couple of days so we have the animal jobs to do ourselves tonight, mind you we do anyway, apart from the pigs.
I'll tell you more about the animals in a later thread. So keep watching and I'll do my best to get on top of it all.

bye for now!

  1. Glad you are still having a ball in NZ.

Crooky and Me are going to Cardiff on 5th Nov.
Wales play NZ. We have no tickets but we are meeting up with a lot of our Lions Tou party and the Coach Captain from Wellington, Woody. He is over for a while as his wife is on buciness in UK.
