Garage/workshop declutter

This was a lovely job! I thoroughly enjoyed helping Joe clear HIS MESS! Not!! He doesn't seem to understand the concept of 'A place for everything, and everything in it's place!' In all fairness though it had become a dumping ground for everything, from the decorating stuff ,tools and my house declutter but I wasn't about to admit to Joe that I played any part in HIS MESS! ;D
This took us most of Saturday afternoon, on and off (we had to stop every so often to cool down, it gets very hot in there) and best part of Sunday too. Remember Joe had been working on the greenhouse site as well. I hope you're ready for these photos, it's pretty scary stuff!

The dogs assume their positions early!!

The garage

The garage after

The pile in front is rubbish and needs to go to the tip

Joe's workshop
Before
After
This area will be completely separate soon and Joe will be closing off that gap to the garage, he needs a contained area for his workshop and his small business of machine tool spindle repair
Garden shed area
Before
After
Joe will be separating this area off soon too, a partition wall will go up this side of Joe's work tables.
Okay I'm running a tab..... how long will it stay like that? What are the odds? Oh and we might actually get to park a car in the garage, not a concept us Brits understand! ;-D

  1. Well done, you! You've inspired me. I dare not post pics yet, for fear that you'd run screaming in terror.

  4. You have both done a great job, men never seem to tidy up when they are finished and it eventually ends up a mess. Then we have to help them tidy it up:-)
It will be so much easier for him to find things.

  5. Well done on tackling that job. I learnt very early on in married life that my clutter is junk and his clutter is 'useful stuff' !!

  6. Wow, Awesome work, no wonder you were buggered... now if you and Joe feel like a little extra work on the side, rumour has it I know a house that will need sorting come next week..
