In the kitchen today - Frosted Chocolate fudge cake

Rich and creamy, with an irresisitable chocolate fudgy frosting, this cake couldn't be easier to make, or more wonderful to eat! Well that's what the book says!

Ingredients:
115g/4oz plain chocolate
175g/6oz/3/4 cup unslated butter or margarine
200g/7oz/1 cup muscovado sugar
5ml/1 tsp vanilla essence
3 eggs beaten (I had a couple of duck eggs)
150ml/5oz/2/3 cup greek style yoghurt
150g/5oz/1 1/4 cups self raising flour ( or use 1 tsp baking powder to each cup plain flour)
chocoalte curls to decorate

Pre heat oven to 190C/ 375F/ Gas 5. Grease and line two 20cm/8in sandwich cake tins
Cream the butter and sugar until light and creamy

Add vanilla essence and beaten eggs
Melt the chocolate in a heat proof bowl over a pan of hot water
Add to mix with the yoghurt
Fold in the flour
Divide into the tins. Bake for 25-30 mins
Cool on a wire rack
For the frosting you will need:
115g/40z plain dark chocolate (I used the same as before)
50g/2oz/4tbsp unsalted butter
350g/12oz/3 cups icing sugar
90ml/6tbsp Greek style yoghurt

Melt chocolate and butter in a pan over a low heat, remove and add icing suger and yoghurt, stir until smooth and it cools and thickens slightly.
Use about a third to sandwich cakes together.
Then spread the rest over the top. Work quickly! Decorate with swirls! ( I didn't I cocked them up!)
Then shove it in yer gob and wash it down wiv a cup of Rosie Lee (tea) Enjoy. Be warned it is VERY sweet.
