And a bargain basement one too! Recently Spotlight had a sale, 30% off any fabric if you finished the end of bolt.
I finished off 2 bolts, approw 1.5 mtrs on the blue and 3.5 mtrs of the other, and bought another 4 mtrs of the edging, altogether $23 spent!
Anyway here's the top finished, when I've got some money I'll go get it quilted.
Okay, what's next..........................?
Very pretty Sue and a bargain as well :0)
ReplyDeleteThe colours are lovely in this quilt, you have done a fantastic job.
ReplyDeleteMy friend ended up buying one of those quilting machines as she does a lot of quilting and it was costing her a fortune. She was lucky enough to have the room, because it was huge.
Lovely Sue. You did a great job on cutting the floral print. Your not going to quilt it yourself?????????? What no time!
ReplyDeleteDebbie:I was rapt at the price, should have bought more lol!
ReplyDeleteOur Back: They are huge!! Wow, can't afford one of them sadly :(
Heritage Farmgirl: If I quilted it myself I'd have to do it by hand and I have trouble holding a needle for too long, my hands seize, and they ache real bad. I quilt little ones myself but the big'uns are a bit beyond me lol!
Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI love the colors.
