In the kitchen - Banana loaf for afternoon tea

I had a moment of domestication this afternoon, we had some bananas that were very ripe. Neither of us can eat them like that as they give us indigestion, so I got out my Edmonds cookbook and made two banana loaves..........

Recipe here, click on the photo to enlarge. You should be able to read it okay, if not let me know and I'll type it out properly

Out came the teacups, the teapot and proper loose leaf tea!

How refined! Sorry forgot the cucumber sandwiches!

That looks wonderful and thank you for the recipe. I have never tried to make banana loafs. They are not known here in The Netherlands, so I will certainly try it !!
    Have a wonderful day.
