The countdown begins......

 

On Sue's blog yesterday she said she reckoned 2013 was on speed and I think I am inclined to agree! We're into February already and I'm sorry but I can't tell you where January went! I am in the last week of my 40's and I'm not entirely sure how I feel about that. In less that three days time my age will begin with a '5' and will do for at least another decade. Inside I still feel like I did when I was 21 although my knees and occasionally my hips tell me otherwise. 

One of my favourite quotes is :

And I don't mind really and it doesn't matter because there is bugger all I can do about it anyway. 

But what I can and will do is continue to do is live life to the full.

The BIG party is this coming Saturday and things are coming along nicely as we have at last finished the rental house and the new tenants moved in yesterday. This means we can now concentrate on turning the barn into Club Tropicana beach. Michael was here yesterday and built the bar

The fun part from now on is creating a great atmosphere to  party in.

Alice and Cedric our recent HelpXers are coming back this week to help with preparations, we're borrowing trestle tables and benches from the Christian camp down the road, platters of food have been ordered and so have some rather lovely cupcakes and macaroons.

Anyway enough rabbiting,  time for that sneak preview.....
