Monday meanderings on a Tuesday! And a job done....

I finally got the driveway border weeded and ready for planting, Joe helped with the very last bit of digging as by then I couldn't even hold the spade let alone dig with it, he dug the grass out where the border narrows this end between the two posts. I managed the rest though, it was a bit of a mission and I was hampered somewhat by the weather, I'm glad that's out of the way. NEXT!
You can remind yourself what it looked like before I started here

Isobel looking on, fat tart! And her daughter Cara, nearly just as fat tart Mk II

Mooove along, nuthin' to see!

Joe using the ride on to make sure that grass left is easy to mow. we can't get right to the fence edge so we'll get the weedeater out and then spray the fence lines with roundup

My cuttings seem to be doing okay

The same can't be said about the top veggie garden...sigh, I did make a start though and cleared the bit of path that you can see Clyde standing on. It's amazing how quickly it all gets away from you, a month away didn't help, ah well two more days and we'll have 4 strapping young chaps here!

We went a bought a load of plants today for the border and I made a start planting them this afternoon, the poor wee things look a bit lost but they'll grow, I need to go on the scrounge for some more plants that flower, I know what I want. I just need to ask nicely or go under cover of night!

Tiger...just chillin' in the evening sun

And a nearly full moon, I used to be a werewolf but I'm alright NOOoooooooowwwwwwww!

See ya next time ♥
