Thursday craft's a washout ....BUT!!!!!!

FlamencoFlamencoFlamencoFlamenco
It's finished!!

I didn't think I would get it done today, we got hit with the tail end of cyclone Ita which ravaged Queensland, Australia this week. To be honest I'm pretty sure there was hardly any warning here for it, they just said strong winds! They made more of a fuss about Cyclone Lusi and that ended up being just a bit of a fizz! Anyway it's passed now and it cleared enough this afternoon so that I was able to carry on in the barn, after I'd swept out the mini flood!. Usually it's Thursday craft day and it was rained off here, we were going to Jan's but it was so awful I stayed and read the latest book from the discussion group I attend.

Enough of the waffle I hear you scream.......here it is!!!

 Someone has just woke up!
 It's a king sized bed.

Now I've looked at it both hanging on the line and on the bed, it doesn't need anything else added, I reckon it's done. Woohoo!
It's not really cold enough yet to keep it on the bed but it will get some use pretty soon I reckon.

Not only did I do that and read some of my book I baked a cake and made soup!
I cocked this up last week, not so today and instead of water I used orange juice, it's delish.
Boiled sultana cake

We're still getting tomatoes and so I made tomato soup.

Here's the recipe, sorry not the best photos.

That's me, see ya next time ♥

the quilt is gorgeous, although it's still not sending me rushing to finish mine. Can I just parcel it up and send it over to you to finish? Cake looks delicious, I got essentials mag the other day and there was a recipe for ginger tea cake which looked scrumptious. Sunny here today, hope things are good at your end. xx
