New babies!

I knew our duck was sitting on eggs somewhere but they hide themselves very well. I knew she would turn up with ducklings in tow at some point. And I was right, Saturday she appeared with these.



I just hope she keeps them well hidden from the hawks now! :(
Who in nature thought that bright yellow was a good colour for tiny babies! Makes for an easy target for predators!

    They are very cute, sadly we were down to 6 last night! Damn those hawks! Could be rats too.
