Thursday craft day

I bought this pattern at a craft fair recently, last Thursday craft day I had finished crocheting a hexagon cushion front (pictures at the end) and I had taken with me some 5 inch fabric squares. I made a start at cutting them but with the events of the last week I didn't manage to get anymore done.
Here's the pattern cover...............
and here's a close up...........
I managed to get all of the squares sewn together and I've pinned them on my craft room wall.
Lovely fabrics, it was a charm pack called Figgy Pudding by Moda.
Pinning the centre fabric over the stitchery template for tracing
Close up of the design
You might have to click on this picture to see the stitchery outline better, Blogger would let it load as landscape which is odd, it was easier to see that way :(
I need to go to Spotlight, I know, how dreadful, to get the right DMC thread

A project finished
I'm still doing the hexagon blanket, but I was given some wool and fancied doing something quick and easy, so I did this, how different it looks in those colours. I was in the sewing mood this evening and as I had got as far as I could with the new quilt runner, I thought I'd finish it off.

Voila! One cushion cover, finished.
The back, I used velcro strips, I can't do zips :D All I need now is a cushion inner
