Last week I found this stool at the Salvation Army Store for $5, it's pretty retro and a tad ugly, but I could see it's potential.
It was a day of pottering, shredding old documents from the filing cabinet and generally lazing around. I got bored though this afternoon, Joe was watching some rugby he recorded and I only have an attention span of five minutes for rugby...or any sport for that matter!
I had bought the fabric above thinking it would be good to cover the stool, but then I realised that I had plenty of extra fabric from the window seat cushion...
...anyhoo...here it is!
Not bad for my first ever attempt at upholstery!
