Had to make a decision today to have Amber put
down. She's been having some serious mobility issues and I said the day
that she couldn't walk to get her food would be her last day, today is
that day. I'll miss your funny face. RIP Amber xx
I hand raised her and yes she is sitting on the sofa! I called in to see a friend one day, the one we got our original goats from and ended coming home with a scraggy rat looking goat.
She drove Joe nuts and tested his fencing abilities constantly, meaning all fences needed to be Amber tested! She was clever, funny and sometimes downright frustrating but I'm going to miss her terribly.
She had a good life with you so she definitely moves on in peace. Such a sweet old girl she was.
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry :( They sure leave their little goatie hoofprints on our hearts - Gone but never forgotten. RIP Amber and (((HUGS))) to you.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry to hear about the loss of Amber. Goats are such characters and fun to have around - even if testing at times!

ReplyDeleteOh Sue, I was sooo very sorry to read this - what a delightful little mischeivious face Amber had. These little creatures sure do attach themselves to our heart strings dont they. Sounds like you gave her a wonderful life though Sue.
ReplyDeleteHugs to you Sue. I'm sure Amber is still living the good life on another level. cheers Wendy
