Creative clutter is better than idle neatness - Anonymous

Thursday is craft day around these here parts, unless it's on another day and then it's not.
One of our original group was back with us today, Margaret who used to live in our road, then moved away to the beach, was in town. It was lovely to see her, I forgot to take a photo of her, she was knitting some really cool slippers, I now have the pattern, so will give them a go.
Ngaire has finished her calendar quilt and has already started another, she can go to the top of the class!
Here she is working on her next project, a log cabin quilt

Jan's progress on her quilt has been held up by us! She's been helping Ngaire and then I took over the benchtop! So now finally she can get on with hers. She is the master at quilting, so we did need her help, some would need we possibly need mental health help but we don't believe that for one minute. And I'm sure you don't either.

Jan's other half Anthony likes a bit of a laugh and we're not entirely sure what he was doing with my sunglasses and Jan's pig pin cushion!

This is the result......mmm! Answers on a postcard please.

Here is Jan's quilt laid out, she has yet to join the rows together.

The light has been poor today and so the photos aren't much good. I did attempt to do some hand stitching but I couldn't really see what I was doing. So put it aside and crocheted a few rows instead.

I've started on January, no particular reason other than it's in the middle(ish) of the quilt.

The line will read "Make hay as the sun shines"
I know it's meant to be"while" the sun shines but space might be an issue.

Here is the whole top, all pinned with batting and backing.
It's going to be an ongoing project, which is great as Winter is Coming and it'll keep me knees warm as I sew!

Not a lot else to share today, other than something to bring a smile to your face.

Oh yeah! Not only is it Friday the 13th tomorrow but there is talk of a Suesday!
So if suddenly there are strange goings on and phenomenons happening somewhere near you, then this could be the reason. I would also like to state that I/We who go by the name of Sue, do not accept any responsibility or liability for any damage to property or persons in the event of a un-natural occurrence, such as earthquakes, tornados (we're not in Kansas), tsunami or long traffic queues.
Subject to regulations in the "How to have fun with friends on a Suesday and not be liable for any mayhem that may occur" manual,
It is clearly stated  in Chapter 10, paragraph 23, sub section iii) Any mayhem that ensues from any gathering of Sues on a Suesday cannot be blamed upon, henceforth and here on in, those that may be called Sue, or derivatives of the name Sue, such as Susan or Suzanne; they will not be held liable for the aforementioned occurrences.
Notwithstanding the evidence, the consensus is that the jury will not reach a verdict should any claim be made in court and any charges brought here about.

So to summarise, in short, without beating about the bush:
Anything that happens is tough poop and you're all screwed!

And on that note I shall depart to prepare my defence.

Until tomorrow to those of you not called Sue.

PS Sue! Make sure yer've got clean undies on!
